The CGS HELIOS QD is a compact, quick-attach rifle suppressor designed for 5.56mm rifles and carbines, featuring CGS Variable Core Diameter technology for strong sound reduction, reduced flash signature, and minimal, consistent point-of-impact shift. Its taper-mounted interface helps prevent carbon lock between the suppressor and the muzzle device, improving reliability during extended use. Constructed entirely from DMLS 718 Inconel, the HELIOS QD is built for maximum strength and durability under harsh conditions. The system is highly versatile, using a large .36 bore to reduce back pressure and support multiple calibers, including up to .300 Norma Magnum. It includes interchangeable 1/2X28 and 5/8X24 rear caps, a 1.375X24 adapter ring for compatibility with a wide range of QD mounting systems, and both sealed and ported front caps for tuning suppression or reducing blowback on over-gassed platforms. Full-auto rated with no barrel-length restrictions, the HELIOS QD is engineered for demanding applications and includes a removable serial ring design that allows the serialized section to be transferred to a replacement core if needed.
